successful cell

Was at Nat’s cell group again. Soon it will be officially Joyce’s cell group. Eliam was leading the discussion aboout stress from loss. He led well , giving less than 5 min background info and then straight into discussion. Launched question, allowed others to express opinions before summarizing n moving on to the next question. The more people talk and share their selves with honesty the more succesful the cell and deeper the bonds, and the more life-changes will take place. A good beginning for deeper sharing.
Met Angeline, Christina’s sister, at membership the course on sat. A sweet sister but quite different in looks from Christina but on further comparison a slight resemblance. Thot she would make a good potential partner for my roomate Barny but on sunday when i found out from christina that she’s already married, my hopes collapsed. Missed it by a mile! will not give up this ‘guardian of love’ thing tho. Lord, help!
interestingly i met Samuel Cheng on sunday. spotted him in congrgation while preaching. he n his Bible school student wife Chay Giam were visiting n we had a good catch up time. used to mentor this guy long ago. used to be a medical student, now a psychiatrist.( dare not mentor him anymore for fear he’ll be psycho-analysing me). wife doctor too. Samuel used to head youth ministry in his Anglican church. they have a burden for young adults n moves in spirit n does inner healing n intercessory work. mission heart as well. asked them to consider working with us and pray along the way to see if the Lord wants them in this vineyard since they have decided to move on from their church.did not do this earlier because of pastoral ethics(sheep-stealing). Iis this really you Lord? sending good people to us just as others have also left. divine blood transfusion for wrpf body of Christ? watch n pray..
brought mum to her sister’s 79th birthday . saw the oldies all around n realize this old man is also getting on in years. but like jet plane on runway i hope i’ll be at my best n greatest propulsion n lift at the final stretch before i fly off the ground into eternity.the best is yet to come.
