match-making not a sweetener

why blog?

February 23rd, 2006

I have to ask myself this. Since I observe that some of the blogs I systematically visit are in I.C.U. I have to ask why I should not also admit my blog into a hospice.

So why blog?

Because it was an idea that I believe the Lord dropped into my mind early one morning. Even the username came to me while I was like semi-conscious. ( If I were conscious I would probably say, No time, Lord. )

Because people can get a fuller picture of my thinking, feeling and living. “I am the good shepherd…and my sheep know me.” A good leader let others know the real him.

Some people see me only on the church stage but not on the stage of life.

If I want to influence people, which is what leaders do, then I must let people know more of me. Blogging is a medium that suits me and has a bigger reach. The people who occasionally read my blog certainly know me more than they otherwise would.

Hopefully I have influenced them for God too.

On hindsight, since I have obeyed the Lord, blogging has also been the motivating factor that dragged me into greater computer literacy .

So shall I continue when others are singing funeral songs over their blogs?

Why not?
