journal review
Spent the morning reviewing my journal from 1 Jan till today. I believe in keeping journals. I have all kinds of adventures with journals but the mainstay is to record experiences with God: to record what I discern to be His work and His word in my life.
So as I reviewed the five months, I could see that during this period God was sharpening my focus again ( I wish we are all autofocus but it’s not the case); and teaching me how to please the Lord a day at a time. He is teaching me that I need to glorify and please Him in the small mundane acts of love as much as in the “spiritual” acts of pastoral ministry.
