bat exodus at Mulu, Sarawak
September 24th, 2008
One of the great highlights of my recent vacation with my trekkie friends was to witness and video the incredible bat exodus from the Deer Cave in the Mulu National Park, in the state of Sarawak, Malaysia. It was a stunning and spectacular sight to behold. Creation sings his praises and stills our complaining voices with His great wonders! Let all that have breath praise the Lord!

Haha. How many male and how many female. Bet the answer was made up on the spot.
The number of bats is close to Singapore’s population size. wow. When to Thailand for trekking last time. Only 1 million bats and the whole mountain was covered with white droppings. It looks pretty clean from where you were sitting though.
The numbers was a joke and the fly by did not pass the observatory. However, the Deer cave was pungent with smell of cumulated bat droppings!
Thank you for your birthday wishes Godfather!
and i was re-watching Batman Begins a few days ago…wonder whether that red-beamed ‘homing’ signal really works…hehe
try the Sarawak Laksa? i heard it’s R-rated.
Hi Alwyn,
I tried the Mulu laksa, which tasted like curry mee with lime added. No chance to do the Sarawak laksa. It was sold out on sunday when I was at Miri. Wonder what I missed….
Oh Keni - you are still the same - comical as ever. I enjoyed the banter.
And I bet you are still as irritating, sometimes, with your funny remarks when you need to be serious! Jenny…care to comment?
