This is the best way to ride the tiger. In fact this festival can be redeemed and we can go beyond ang pow time to rebonding time and blessing time, blessing people heartily in the name of the Lord.

Dear Pastor Kenny,
Gong Xi Fa Cai! May your Tiger year overflow with Fish ;-) and the new year usher in a fresh season of God's favour!

Personally, I look forward to CNY for the reunion feast with the whole family which includes my mum (and dad before he passed away), sisters and brother (who comes home every year from his overseas job) and nieces.

I also look forward to our family mahjong and blackjack sessions and also "lo hei". Yes, sometimes we have to bear with entertaining unfamiliar relatives and parting with angpaos but I like to focus on the positive ie. the bonding and renewing of family ties during CNY, and I think that overrides all the negatives for me.
