The Bible says, “Humble yourselves therefore under God’s mighty hand, and in due time the Lord will lift you up.” (1Peter5:6). Pastor Rony Tan has admitted to his wrong and profoundly regretted his actions. He has apologised to the heads of the religious associations. He has humbled himself before his congregation and even instructed them of what they need to do too. Even if you are cynical, you would have to concede his actions show sincere contrition.

The chapter has hopefully ended for all affected parties. But it has not ended for God and for Pastor Rony.

GOD WILL EXALT HIM IN DUE TIME.

May be Pastor, this Ex-Buddhist don’t know what is Buddhist teachings and may be they think Buddhist is Mi Goreng at market or at Pasar malam.

Why not read about Buddhist history before they commented, on the other hand may be losing their mindful, then don’t know what is wrong and right.

Again, on the other hand, may be they take some drug before on stage to talk.

They must think, make the others sad is go hell and make the others happy go heaven.

What for, they need to believe God, if Juses Christ alive, Juses Christ also unlike like this student.

Pls see my other reply. BTW Elijah mocked the ‘god’ of the Baal prophets really good. Shouldn’t God have not responded to him for doing such a ‘terrible’ thing? Again, I’m not saying what Ps Rony did was right, just throwing in some balance.

I think you missed my point. I’m not saying that it’s ok nor is there a need to mock other religions. I’m saying the double standards here is clear as night and day. It’s so obvious that other faiths here enjoy more protection or ‘overprotection’. They would never allow a Da Vinci Code-type movie or book abt the Muslims for instance.

How many of us do know what Rony Tan has been preaching in the early 2000s? We seem to kno what he did in 2010. Please look back and analyze and you find something even more terrible.

Sometimes truth is hard to swallow.
Pastor Rony was not charged with slander but was told by the ISD to shut up. In his interview, he has touch on something although true, but should not be mentioned in public due to it’s sensitive nature.
That’s the job of ISD.

To all in Christ.

I asked the Lord one day in prayer. It’s so confusing in the last days in the things that many preachers or Tv evangelists said on the internet. How shall we know which are the truths and which are the deceptions. And the Lord showed me this verse immediately after my prayer:

Deuteronomy: 5 :32,33
“So you shall observe to do just as the Lord your God has commanded you; you shall not turn aside to your right or to the left. You shall walk in all the way which the Lord your God has commanded you, that you may live and that it may be well with you,and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess.”

So do not judge or do not waiver in your search for the Lord’s righteousness and HIS truth. Seek HIS word. His word will guide you in all ways of your life.
